Sara Wallevik is educated by professor Milan Vitek at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen.
Later on she continued her studies with the professors Almita og Roland Vamos, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Ohio, USA. And professor Camilla Wicks in New Orleans.
She has won the goldmedal at Berlingske Tidendes competion and recieved the prestigious Jacob Gades Price in 1994. 

She has played numerous chambermusic concerts all over the world. From 1990 member of the Cassiopeia Kvintett, and since 1995 member of the Royal theater Orchestra in Copenhagen.
